The second full-length album and sixth release from electronic musician and experimenter Adhesion. Made over the course of 2005, this release contains songs spanning a vast number of genres as per usual - ambient, downtempo, IDM, techno, chiptune, breakcore/drum'n'bass and a variety of other genres which as of now have no names. Composed and produced entirely with software, it is an extensive, cohesive and flowing work of musical art. more info: http://www.evilresidence.com

Prolific is a collection of the 12th, 13th and 14th album-a-days by electronic musician Adhesion. This whole release was written and produced in the span of about 4 days total (August 21st-24th, 2006), within the rules of the album-a-day project. Tracks 1-7 make up part 1, which is faster and more slanted towards techno and IDM with a little jazz at the end. Part 2 is tracks 8-14 and is made up of ambient and downtempo with the last track being dub. The last part of the album is a return to the...

The fourth release from electronic musician Adhesion. Originally conceived as an attempt at 7 Album-A-Days in 7 days, it quickly degenerated in a mad rush to reach the goal of 140 minutes. The whole project, from start to finish, took 11 days instead of the planned 7. The result is a double album that defies classification, crossing through genres like downtempo, ambient, techno, trance and noise. More info: http://www.evilresidence.com

Progressive Space Blues Fusion! A song cycle based on Bill Bryson's great book, "A Short History of Everything". A combination of Ozric Tentacles, Tangerine Dream, Hawkwind, Frank Marino, Sonny Sharrock, Pink Floyd? These long jams are comprised of a bunch of smaller jams that have been spliced together to form longer songs. Each smaller section is based on a chapter from the book. Find it, read it, and take another look at the very galaxy we all live in as you listen to this music.

The Doom 2 Variations - A Tribute to Bobby Prince - - A re-creation of the Doom 2 Videogame soundtrack, with some minor variations in the basic song arrangements, instruments, etc. These songs are all basically created from the original MIDI files that are easily available just about anywhere you search on the Internet. However, due to re-formatting from the game, the notes are no longer properly "sync-ed" to any proper "beats-per-minute" tempo setting, so I really had to do...

The Daevellation Suite - this is actually the last of four exclusively MIDI/synth albums that I composed in 2000-2001. I decided it was time to re-do these with real guitars and bass, better drums, and far superior symphonic sounds. Stylistically, it is a return to my "less metal" music, yet with almost no guitar solos, except for the final song. - It is a symphonic ensemble record, focusing more on the mood and atmosphere of the music in general, rather than on heavy riffs or solos....

Minimal Metal Drone meets Maximum Drum Seminar is the best way to describe this experimental and improvisational recording. Simple sustaining guitar and synth chords over blasting drums. A combination of "Leprosia Doom" and "Aetherial Art of Decay". A few freeform guitar solos here and there, but I would describe this recording as a "drummer's album". Plenty of technically precise blast beats, thundering double bass drums, drum solos, crisp cymbal work and refined...

This series of recordings was done solely on synths and keyboards, no guitars or bass, strictly as an ambient set of space music, all improvised as it was being played, except for two songs that have some drum beats. Thats' it. I just sat at the keyboard, picked a few sustaining synth sounds, and started playing whatever came to mind.

The Lazarus Plain is an instrumental, synth-based project inspired by the ceremonial concepts and religious rituals of the Christian faith. The album structure was designed to mimic the interweaving songs of post Sid Barret era Pink Floyd. This piece took approximately three years to complete, has been released in numerous formats, and now it's free. http://blueharvestrecords.googlepages.com/

In your more cynical moments you might think that the already overcrowded world of experimental DIY electro needs another knob twiddling home studio dweller like it needs a collection of badly warped vinyl but consider the case of Simon Smerdon AKA Mothboy, a geezer of no little wit and invention. Here is another fine Oscilator release for 2006. I am talking about Motoboiler, Bosnian producer, and his ep Forecast. This is a more laidback release from our previous one, and if you are ready for some retro-electro sounds, with a few trance sounding lines you are ready for this guy!

«Swedish born Petter Friberg is a veteran when it comes to electronic dance music. He started producing underground techno back in the late 80's and issued a couple of twelve inches. After that, with partner Martin Frick under the alias Superstereo, he released three EPs of groovy danceable tunes, but after a few years he got into Eno and The Orb and began working in the ambient electronica field. As Motionfield, he has two excellent works published - one on Stadtgruen and another on...
